We have a deal! Decoding the political agreement on the TEN-T revision

To kick off our new series of #ScandriaAllianceTalks, we discussed the revised TEN-T regulation and its implications for seamless, green and smart transport along the ScanMed Corridor.

About this webinar

Just before Christmas 2023, the European Parliament and the Council reached a political agreement on a revised regulation for the development of the Trans-European transport network (TEN-T). These guidelines are the European Union’s plan to develop a network of railways, roads, inland waterways and short sea shipping routes connected through ports and terminals across the European Union.

In the webinar, participants learned which core provisions the co-legislators agreed on in the trilogues. We also discussed the implications of the new regulation for the ScanMed Corridor – with a particular focus on urban nodes and cross-border connections.

Agenda

• The European Commission’s perspective on the agreement
Martin Zeitler, Advisor to the European Coordinator Pat Cox

• What the agreement means for urban nodes
